My Early Experience
A Time For Taking Action

My Early Experience

I was baptized along with my wife in 1973 at the Royals Stadium in Kansas City. We had two small children, life was good and the future secure. Unfortunately, that last part was never true, neither before nor afterward. We had problems from the first week of our marriage when she suddenly informed me that I could not smoke in our house. All the time we were dating, she was completely silent on the matter. I never laid an offensive hand on her, but I blocked thousands of blows, rocks and dishes. She threw things at me as I went out the door to work. She literally ripped our bedroom door out of the wall including the frame and dragged it into the dining room where I was have some morning coffee, and tried to throw it at me. I calmly got up and walked out to my workshop, and she came out later and asked me to put the door back up. I said, Why don't we just leave it where it is? She finally tacked it back in the hole herself, and pretended it was just a bad dream, but for me it was a continuing nightmare. I couldn't even trim the hedge without her interference, and if I touched the lawn mower, I was a dead man. Yet she would be happy to let both go unattended, and I never saw her pick up a hedge trimer.

My wife made her first attempt at suicide by OD'ing on her prescribed medication soon after our baptism. She was hospitalized for two days, but we both helped her keep the secret of her action. She finally succeeded on the third try in January of 1982 after I told her that I couldn't live with her any more.

For reasons I won't detail, I had been disfellowshipped a couple of years earlier. In 1986, I remarried and applied for reinstatement. My family and my new wife's family both attended every meeting including a book study at the home of a very respected elder who was responsible for monitoring my progress. After a few months, it was finally decided that I would be able to comment at least at the book study, but for several weeks while I was in attendance at every meeting, this elder "forgot" to mention that fact. Then after a book study in his home, he asked, "Did I ever tell you that you could comment now?". I said no, but thats really good news, I'm very excited. Then came the ice water bath. He said, "Yes it was decided at the last Overseer's visit, but I just forgot to mention it until now". I thought this is rather bazaar, since he is always looking for a reader and scanning the audience for comments, and I've been here each week. I could not believe for a moment that he had simply forgotten, and I lost a lot of confidence in the man for offering such a lame excuse, and one which he had volunteered at that. I had not asked any questions and said nothing which could have provoked that comment.

This Elder watched me like a hawk, even after I was reinstated. One week I reported 8 hours of field service. I had been sick with the flu some of that month, and the weather was sever most of the time, but I wrote letters, and felt pretty good about my report. His comment when I turned it in was, "You're drifting brother", to which I had nothing to say. What can you say to such a moronic statement? Many such things prompted me to ask for a meeting with the Congregation Overseer, where he concluded that none of my objections were serious, and I was just too sensitive.

I continued to associate, but eventually quit commenting except at a new book study that I was assigned to. To my astonishment, everyone was totally happy with that. As you might imagine, I made no progress under such conditions. I moved to another state and a congregation where an old friend from my first congregation sort of took me under his wing and promised aid and comfort. This was in late 1992 and I was already noticing the UN agenda being promoted in the publications. In 1993, I asked this Elder about it and his comment was, "Who else could they quote on such things?. In my estimation, the one repeating and/or promoting a lie can have no better standing than the liar himself.

Well, I began some serious outside independent study and had no difficulty finding numerous sources which could have been quoted, and many of them were proving that the UN was lying and subverting our nations constitution. In 1994, I made a promise to myself to discover the truth. I knew that something was terribly wrong, and I meant to find out what it was. I had a computer, but was not on line yet, but I bought a short wave radio and began listening to many various viewpoints. I learned how to read the news, which in itself was very enlightening. I conducted an exhaustive study of Satan's deception of Eve, and found that this very same process characterizes every lie without exception, no matter how big or how small. I discovered that deception is NOT something which just happens to overtake a person. I learned that words are used out of their proper context to suggest one thing but mean another. I learned that the best liars rarely if ever lie with their choice of words. There will always be elements of truth which allow them a certain credibility. The lie is generated in the mind of the target through the power of persuasive argument interacting with his cognitive processes. I learned about the art of persuasion and its power to deceive by propagating a belief as opposed to imparting genuine knowledge I learned that any belief can be supported by facts, and thus "proven" within the frame of reference from which the belief is held. I learned that belief is a proper state of mind and normally a temporary condition between knowledge and doubt.

Not finding any approval of these findings within the Society, I gradually dissociated myself. The last time an Elder came to visit (in 1997), he left in tears after listening to my story. He obviously knew it very well from other accounts, but was powerless to do anything.

Growing in knowledge is a circular process. Our state of mind at birth knows no doubt and we believe everything until we meet with a contradiction, which in turn gives rise to doubt (indicated by crying in that case). That should lead us to a search for a resolution of the contradiction. At first its easy as mother is quick to bring comfort. Later it becomes our individual responsibility. The proper resolution introduces new knowledge which once again restores belief. That normal process should continue throughout a lifetime. In practice however, this process is usually interrupted by the method we choose to deal with the contradictions. We see a contradiction to our belief and we try to justify the contradiction in a vane effort to hold on to and support the belief which gave rise to the contradiction in the first place.

For example, if Jehovah's Witnesses did not believe that the UN was a Satanic counterfeit of God's kingdom, then there would be no contradiction in the Watchtower and Awake publishing and promoting their utopian agenda. But JW's not only believe it is Satan's organization, rather they know it as a verifiable fact. But therein lies the contradiction, for they also believe that the Watchtower Society is Jehovah's visible organization in the Earth today. Since those opposing beliefs present a contradiction, one of them might be wrong, or at least be flawed in some way. The choices are, allow the contradiction to stand unquestioned and unresolved, or find a suitable resolution.

Recognize that it is the beliefs which give rise to the contradiction. The typical and dominant response is to seek a justification for the existence of the contradiction so as to allow the failed beliefs to stand. The fateful result is a stagnation in the growth of knowledge. Everything comes to a dead standstill as we wait for the society to clear up the matter.

The salient truth which derives from all this is the fact that a person absolutely cannot be deceived without his own knowledge and consent. In plain English, there is willful complicity, which means that there is participation in, or as if in a wrongful act, according to Webster's 10th Collegiate Dictionary.

"And what agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For you are a temple of the living God, even as God said, "I will" dwell in them and "walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people." ( Lev. 26:12; Ezek. 37:27) Because of this, "come out from among them" "and be separated," says the Lord, "and do not touch the unclean thing," and I will receive you. (Isa. 52:11) ~ 2 Corinthians 6:16,17"

You want the truth? It will be yours only if you are willing to conduct the search and find it and claim it as your own. Jesus illustrated very clearly how it works. Solomon before him indicated the way at Proverbs 2. Jesus confirmed the method, and it's the one I advocate, but it remains your individual responsibility to execute the method for your own personal benefit.

"Then the righteous will shine out like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. The one having ears to hear, let him hear. Again, the kingdom of Heaven is compared to treasure being hidden in the field, which finding, a man hid; and for the joy of it, he goes and sells all things, as many as he has, and buys that field. Again, the kingdom of Heaven is compared to a man, a merchant seeking excellent pearls; who finding one very precious pearl, going away has sold all things, as many as he had, and bought it. Again, the kingdom of Heaven is compared to a drag net thrown into the sea, and gathering together of every kind; which, when it was filled, drawing it up on the shore, and sitting down, they gathered the good into containers, and they threw out the rotten. So it will be in the completion of the age: the angels will go out and will separate the evil from the midst of the righteous," — Matthew 13: 43-49

If you are paying attention, you will have noticed that not a single one of these examples indicated holding up what you have found and announcing it to the world, offering to share it with them for a price! Rather the finder claims it as his very own exclusive property. Do you think for a moment that Jesus may have made a minor mistake here? Good luck with that! No, it is priceless, worth more than all of ones possessions. It is not for sale, and you certainly would not want to give it away!

I am not the first to notice this. The great Victorian thinker John Ruskin said: "Without seeking, truth cannot be known at all. It can neither be declared from pulpits, nor set down in articles, nor in any wise prepared and sold in packages ready for use. Truth must be ground for every man by itself out of it such, with such help as he can get, indeed, but not without stern labor of his own."

A Time For Taking Action

The Watchtower Society maintains that it is not a religion and that it does not maintain a membership role. Taking them at their word, I saw no value nor necessity in writing a letter of resignation, so I just quitely stopped attending meetings and did not renew my subscriptions.

I was perhaps one of the first to notice that the UN agenda was being repeated in the Awake and to some degree, the Watchtower. Because of my background in military intelligence, I knew that there was plenty of evidence to support the Societies claim that the UN was a representation of Satan's organization, and the means by which he intended to bring about the conditions foretold in Bible prophecy for paradise like conditions on this Earth. Their design was clearly spelled out at the 1992 Rio Summit on the environment. The UN Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED), commonly known as the Earth Summit, was held in Rio de Janeiro in June 1992.

In 1986 I watched Eduard Shevardnadze representing the Soviet Union, as he addressed the UN General Assembly where he described the process by which (as the whole world later discovered), would bring about the dissolution of the Soviet Union. (To paraphrase because I cannot find the statement anywhere), He said, "The nations will have to give up some of their sovereignty and come together under the auspices of the United Nations to confront the world's environmental problems". He stated that it was necessary because "our very survival is at stake". I'm certain that he meant their survival as leaders of nations, not that of we the people.

The UN motto is Plagiarised from Isaiah's prophecy, “They will beat their swords into ploughshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up swords against nation, nor will they train for war any more." ~ Isaiah 2:4.

John F. Kennedy, introducing the Peace Corp said, "I invite all the nations of the world to use this technology to bring about international peace and universal brotherhood." -- Pres. J. F. Kennedy

Kennedy addressed his comments on disarmament to an International body in 1962. Disarmament is the primary function of the US military. The War in Iraq was about disarming a nation of it's weapons of mass destruction. The main issue with Iran and North Korea is disarmament. Under the UN, peace is the objective, and since Rio, it is being achieved through the communitarian UN Agenda 21 programs.

Hearing Shevardnadze's address concerning environment, survival, and "coming together" against a great adversary which threatened their very existence prompted me to turn to the Revelation account of the three "inspired expressions" which looked like frogs (Rev. 16:13). Kermit the Frog was already the mascot of the "green revolution". In coloring books as children, we color our frogs green.

In occult symbology, green is a sacred color:
"DARK EMERALD GREEN. This color is assigned to the AntiChrist-Satan alter(s). Green is the occult color for Satan and happens to be the most sacred color. Few people outside of Satanists know that Green is more sacred for them than any other color.
LIGHT GREEN. The gods and goddess alters which are triads which function in Illuminati ceremonies get this color coding." ~ Fritz Springmeier & Cisco Wheeler in, "The Illuminati Formula to Create an Undetectable Total Mind Control Slave".

Three frogs, triads, green, environment, alters, sacrifice (giving up sovereignty)? Because of the convergence of all these symbols, and knowing as I do that the world is driven by Satanic forces, I understand the 1992 Rio summit to be the event which marks the beginning of the gathering together of the nations for the great war". "For they are spirits of demons doing signs, which go forth to the kings of the earth, even of the whole habitable world to assemble them to the war of that day, the great day of God Almighty." ~ Rev. 16:14.

We were studying the Revelation book in that same time frame, which may have been purely coincidental, but perhaps not.

I recognized another sea change event within the organization when former President George H. W. Bush introduced the world to the "New World Order" in his "Thousand Points of Light" speech as the US prepared to invade Iraq in 1991. Shortly thereafter I began to see more blatant UN representation in the pages of the Societies publications. Eventually it became a most serious issue of conscience for me to participate in field service where I was expected to pass this contaminated literature off onto unsuspecting people who would be helpless to see it as a contradiction to our professed claims of representing Jehovah's Kingdom to them. How would they distinguish our kingdom message from Satan's counterfeit environmentalism which was interlaced among the pages? After examining it closely for several years, its difficult for me even now. A counterfeit exist for only one reason, and the intent is to copy the real thing, and pass it off on unsuspecting people. Revelation 12:9 states that the whole world is deceived by Satan. If there is deception in the presentation of the organizations literature, then whose work is really being done?

If I would not want to pass this off on people less informed than myself, then why in Jehovah's name would I want to consume it myself? For me the basis for my decision was clear, and my individual reaction to it was absolutely necessary. They say that actions speak louder than words, and I am convinced that its true. Failure to act was for me, to remain silent, and that was something which I could no longer tolerate, and no longer willing to do.

None of this happened over night. It took many years af hard work and dedication to truth for me to figure this out.
