Medical Insanity    Top of page
When medical science abandons safe medical practices for highly dangerous ones we have a serious situation that we need to look at under a microscope. When the law protects organizations, people and corporations that inject, for example, mercury containing vaccines into newborn infants and children in the first years of life, a substance that burns their brain sometimes kills or more frequently causes autism and many other neurological disorders we have a huge catastrophic problem that casts a serious doubt on the sanity of those involved. When we contrast this horror with another one that puts people in jail for using a drug fantastically safer, we have a psychological wind shear that highlights, in no uncertain terms, an until now hidden mass insanity creating enormous problems for society.    Complete Article

Medical Elites    Top of page
Doctor John Martin, who previously conducted vaccine research at the National Institute of Health (NIH), is a scientist familiar with the inner circles at the FDA and the CDC says, "My reaction to the members of The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) that I have met personally is that: First, they avoid any criticism of their own actions. Second, they work toward the interest of vaccine manufacturers in the sincere belief that vaccines are good."    Complete Article

Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices Top of page
An advisory group to the federal government is considering recommending that all Americans receive annual flu vaccinations, a step that would result in the largest vaccination enterprise in United States history. The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) is a group of people in the background of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) making recommendations on what federal health policy should be at the CDC. Staffers of both the FDA and the CDC are known for their close financial and working ties with the pharmaceutical people and conflict of interest is a real problem in both of these agencies, a problem being raised in congressional hearings but one getting regularly swept under the carpet. Medical Causes or Murder One Top of page
Doctors and medical examiners are notoriously prone to gloss over the official cause of death when mortality occurs in close proximity to vaccine administration. But doctors like William C. Torch found in 103 SIDS deaths in 12 different countries, more than two-thirds closely followed vaccination shots, specifically the DTP shot -- 26 percent within three days, 37 percent within a week and 70 percent within three weeks. Of 771 total claims filed in the Federal Court responsible for vaccine damages in the United States between 1990 through mid-1998, 660, or 86 percent, contained assertions that DTP was the cause of death. And 43 percent were classified by medical authorities at time of death as SIDS cases meaning no known cause. Complete Article...

Environmental Medicine
More than 60 influential scientists, including 20 Nobel laureates, issued a statement this week asserting that the Bush administration had systematically distorted scientific fact in the service of policy goals on the environment, health, and on biomedical research. The United States government stands accused of repeatedly censoring and suppressing reports by its own scientists and disbanding government panels that provide unwanted advice according to the New York Times. A Tale of Two Hammers
The ruin that the medical industrial complex is perpetuating is in evidence everywhere, killing alone in the United States at least a quarter of a million people a year according to Dr. Barbara Starfield of the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene. Yet the picture from America tells only a small fraction of the story. Where the medical establishment is taking humanity in the future can best be seen in Africa where resident populations are starving. The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization released a report recently saying that the number of hungry people worldwide has swelled in recent years, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa, because of war, drought, AIDS and trade barriers. Between 1999 and 2001, the report found, more than 840 million people, or one in seven, went hungry. Most alarming of all, between 1995 and 2001, the number of malnourished people across the developing world grew by an average of 4.5 million a year. According to the United Nations the rise in hunger came even though the world produced ample food. Complete Article...

Heads will Roll
Who does the medical media work for? It's a simple question. Why does the medical media ignore all the controversies that exist around major medical issues and concentrate on reporting only on the official party lines of the CDC, FDA, AMA and the World Health Organization? These are questions that will lead to a kind of scandal the public media has never faced, one that will make the one that the BBC is presently facing seem small. Complete Article...

Foot and Mouth Disease at the AMA
On a current web page called 'Vaccine Anxiety,' posted to physicians, the AMA's online e-magazine starts with, "The individuals and organizations on a mission to sow the seeds of doubt about childhood immunizations may be weak on science but are savvy with (virtual) technology." It's always an interesting thing for a psychologist to watch how people and organizations cannot help but project their shadow side. In this case accusing these individuals and organizations of being weak on science. It's a sad thing to see such a successful and large organization like the AMA stooping to low blows when it comes to dealing with such important issues. It's also tragic to see in the projection that it is the AMA itself that is weak on science when it comes to childhood vaccinations. Certainly they show weakness when taking 'cheap' shots at serious people confronting a very serious subject. Complete Article...

A Medical Serial Killer
In all the world of medicine we can perhaps weigh in all the evidence and perhaps establish among all the medicines offered to patients, what drugs could compete for the most dangerous and deadly of all. The top candidates would easily include antiviral drugs, chemotherapy routines, glucocorticoids and cytotoxic drugs. But most of these will not kill you in one application, nor in two or three, though they can easily make you very sick. What we are hunting for is the real kicker, the one that can do a person in with one application, with one dose. We are looking for a killer, one with a punch strong enough to lay people out on slabs everyday. Complete Article...

Landmark Federal Court Ruling
This past Monday, Judge Emmet G. Sullivan of United States District Court for the District of Columbia issued a preliminary injunction halting the Pentagon from "inoculating service members without their consent." He ruled that the anthrax vaccine used in the Pentagon's mandatory program was "an investigational drug," being used for an unapproved purpose. That means that the Pentagon has been in violation of the Nuremberg Code and has been using its own troops as guinea pigs against their will. The injunction is the result of a class action lawsuit brought by military personnel and civilians working for the Pentagon. In his ruling, Sullivan pointed to the apparent risk in receiving the anthrax vaccination, noting that the rate of adverse reaction was recently revised upward from 0.2 percent to between 5 percent and 35 percent. FDA Reform
A key advisory committee to the Food and Drug Administration recommended last week (October 2003) that silicone breast implants be allowed back on the market more than a decade after they were largely banished over safety concerns. The decision was a close call, with nine panelists favoring reinstatement and six opposed because of worries about possible long-term dangers. This admission, printed by the New York Times, exposes the heart of the problem with the FDA and its entire process of approvals of drugs, pesticides, food additives, medical procedures, vaccines and other related issues of public concern. Deadly Needle Waiting for Every Newborn
The medical news that is released by organizations like the BBC and the New York Times is not reliable information but “spin” well designed to confuse, misinform and preach the party line of medical authorities. On the 23rd of August in 2001 the BBC reported that there is a safe and effective vaccine for hepatitis B. On the 28th of October in 2003 it reported that “A group of patients (in England) are planning legal action claiming they suffered side effects after being vaccinated against Hepatitis B. Around 50 patients are now planning legal action, claiming they became ill after being vaccinated.” Complete Article...

Medical Armageddon
Recently a New York Times editorial mused about testosterone replacement therapy stating, "One wonders whether 'another' medical debacle is in the making." Medical debacles are common occurrences these days, so common that every ten days, in the United States alone, the same number of people die from the effects of prescription drugs as were killed in the September 11th World Trade Center attack.? Dr. Barbara Starfield of the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Healthreported in the Journal of the American Medical Association that 250,000 people in the US were dying each year from errors in medication, unnecessary surgery, infections caught in hospitals, and 106,000 per year from non-error, negative effects of drugs. Antiretroviral Drugs and AIDS - The Medical News
According to the New York Times both China and South Africa have announced plans to distribute a triple cocktail of life-prolonging antiretroviral drugs free to all who need it. Until recently, South Africa's top officials have resisted these drugs because of a deep belief, shared by others, that antiretroviral drugs are really "poisons." Bowing to enormous international pressure both countries have decided to invest fortunes in drugs that do nothing to cure Aids. Lost, even to the international press, are the lessons from California where the history of fighting this immune disease is oldest. "I have a large population of people who have chosen not to take any antiretrovirals," says Donald Abrams, M.D., director of the AIDS program at San Francisco General Hospital. "They've watched all their friends go on the antiviral bandwagon and die." A study published in the New England Journal of Medicine in 1995 showed that one of the things that long-term AIDS survivors had in commo n was that they didn't take antiretroviral drugs. Medical Marijuana and Aspirin
The House of Lords in England has made its inquiry into calls for laws to be changed that would permit the medical use of cannabinoids, and to permit the medical use of cannabis itself. Canada, one of the largest most conservative nations on earth has legalized it, as have several states in the US for medicinal purposes. The winds of globalization are blowing in the direction of legalization but law is not the issue here, intelligent medicine is. It's highly ironic, looking back, that the lone opponent to the criminalization of marijuana in 1937 was a representative of the American Medical Association (AMA) who said "it would seem worthwhile to maintain its status as a medicinal agent." Again over AMA objections, marijuana was removed from the American pharmacopoeia in 1941, and any hope for further research or legal medical use of it came to an end. Complete Article...

Longevity & Health
Longevity and health are related subjects. In fact they are inseparable. Both are crucial subjects if one wishes at all to avoid the horrors of disease and untimely miserable death. Disease obviously involves a great deal of pain and suffering and does the utmost to shorten our natural life spans. In an age where disease is on the rise one does well to invest oneself in a reasonable study of basic subjects like health and longevity. What is the point of living longer if we are going to spend the ending part of our life suffering from diseases? As everyone knows, cancer is not a good way to go. Complete Article...

The Dark Age of Medicine
"Having watched emergency room physicians resuscitate comatose patients or surgeons fighting for hours to maintain the life of severely injured car accident victims, I would not agree that 'all' of medicine is in the Dark Ages," said Dr. John Martin. Many are the voices that argue, though, that there is a dark malignancy at the heart of pharmaceutical firms, the FDA and the CDC, all of whom share personnel in common. Despite the brilliant light of dedicated doctors in emergency and intensive care units, western allopathic medicine has been plunged into a dark age of thought and deed that will be remembered with shame for many centuries to come. Medicine may preach healing and science yet it's hard to think of anything that is more involved with unnecessary death and human suffering. Complete Article...

The State of the WorldTop of page
It is most typical in our world today to deny reality in any and every way we can. When our world seems to be falling apart many cope by pretending that it's not, thus reality sneaks up from behind even though clear trends are well visible. There are painful realities to be confronted in life on individual and collective levels. It is unfortunate but true that people prefer to deny both their feelings and reality and this lands us in a whole lot of trouble. David Reynolds, an American exponent of Japanese Morita psychotherapy said, "People deny reality. They fight against real feelings caused by real circumstances. They build mental worlds of shoulds, oughts, and might-have-beens. Real changes begin with real appraisal and acceptance of what is. Then realistic action is possible." Complete Article...
