From Niki, Dec. 8, 2006:

The shift by the univeristies and the Catholics(Vatican II) to "community thinking" is detailed in "Inventing the Middle Ages," by Norman Cantor, a book I just happened to find at the local fair last August. Cantor is a highly respected expert on the Middle ages who studied under Sayer. Cantor is very open about the players and when each "school" shifted to Hegelian thinking. He totally descibes how they rewrite history AND religion to fit the emerging consensus among academics that emphazizing collectives as the primary "natural" social aperatus was to be the end point of ALL historical studies. He makes no bones about what happened to the scholars who refused.

"It was characteristic of the Age of High Modernism (1890-1920) that behind just about every intellectual breakthrough-- physics, philosophy, psychology, sociology, anthropology-- there loomed a European Jewish mind. Felix Liebermann was a pioneer in the analysis of the documentary record of medival law. He was Maitland's Jewish shadow."

I suspect the Intellectual breakthroughs you mentioned, were mostly made by participants in the "Great Conspiracy" to introduce chaos and enable and empower their social engineering programs for the rebuilding of society to their specifications. "Order Out of Chaos".

From Gary, Dec. 4, 2006:

Bobby.

The first thing I noticed about Philip Meyer's quote is that he described selfishness and then called it individualism. He referred to the need for common good and then called it community. Through semantic games like that, the world railroads truth into a pit. Semantic fraud is their number one way of promoting their corruptions.

In the global warming fraud, the primary arguement is that all scientists agree, which isn't true. Consensus is supposed to replace the need for evidence.

What I heard all of my life is, how can one person be right and everyone else wrong.

The primary purpose of one-world-ism is to erradicate dissent through homogenization. Diversity is the most basic means used by God to generate truth, and getting rid of diversity is how satan tries to erradicate truth.

One of the things that makes is so easy is that people often demonstrate an irrational need for consensus. It's a form of security, and this makes it the public pacifier, which you mention.

At one extreme is a driving force of corrupters who create power through consensus and must root out every element of dissent. At the other extreme are insecure individuals who are afraid to oppose the status quo. These are the forces which created Nazism and are creating one-world-ism.

Highly informative is that the documents of Vatican II which changed the Catholic religion replaced morality with community. It's the most shocking theological perversion I've seen since Paul's theology. It came out of nowhere and was decreed to be the new ethic of the religion. Then it showed up in the schools. Community was the purpose of existence.

I have a web page on community explaining its moral significance. Community is rationalized as if it were social justice, which is probably what Philip Meyer is doing, along with the gods who he mentions. One of the corruptions of community is that it sacrifices individuals for the group. Sacrifice is a basic corruption. Christ said, "It is mercy God wants, not sacrifice" (Mat 9:13). The Nazis demonstrated how everyone and everything must be sacrificed for the abstractions of a group. This is what irrational patriotism is--sacrificing for a group.

Community is how enemies are fought. Christ said enemies are supposed to beloved, not fought (Mat 5:43-48). Loving enemies might be attacking them with truth, but community is attacking enemies with force, the basis of sin.

Here's the concluding paragraph from that web page:

"The real significance of community is demonstrated by the fact that it did not exist as an ethic (quasi moral concept) untill a few years ago. It therefore says that God didn't know what he was doing over the past four thousand years in developing moral truth through religion, and a few nihilistic slogans are supposed to replace his work. You can be sure that when corrupted persons are creating a new ethic, the purpose is to promote sin, not overcome it."

Thanks for your thoughts Gary. I had not noticed those comments of Philip Meyer, nor had I connected Vatican II with this series of events.

I don't find this particularly surprising though give that the Catholic Church began as a vassal of the state, and it has historically sought alliances with governments.

According to the author, Russell Hittinger, traditional Catholic teaching assumed that the state has a necessary sacral dimension — all authority, after all, is from God — and naturally wanted that dimension to be Catholic. - Political modernity and Vatican policy

There is an obvious fallacy in that argument however, since Jesus understood that Satan was "ruler of the world", although a usurper. This is evident from Satan's tempting him with "all the kingdoms of the world" (Matthew 4:8,9). He also connected the Scribes and Pharisees (rulers?) with their "father the Devil"

The timing of Vatican II certainly fits the rise of the counterculture, and thereby puts it in lock step with The Plan whether intentional or not.

Thirty-seven years after the end of the only church council of the 20th century, the jury has come in with its verdict: Vatican II appears to have been an unrelieved disaster for Roman Catholicism. - An index of Catholicism's decline

But I stand by the premise of the article that nothing like this is by chance. The revolutionaries had plenty of time to be in place to influence the outcome, and probably instigated the whole thing for this very purpose. Destruction of religion is a fundamental part of The Plan.

Are You A Virtual Communitarian?

"Virtual communities are discussed as expressions of the modern tension between individuality and community, emphasizing the role that counterculture and its values played in shaping the virtual community project. This article analyzes postings to the WELL conferences and the online groups that served as incubators and testing ground for the term "virtual community," revealing how this concept was culturally shaped by the countercultural ideals of WELL users and how the tension between individualism and communitarian ideals was dealt with. The overarching conclusion is that virtual communities act both as solvent and glue in modern society, being similar to the "small group" movement. ... The relationship between individuality, self-expression, and communitarianism is probably one of the thorniest issues of our day, and many scholars and activists are still struggling to find the right balance between individualism and communitarianism."

So, What does The WELL mean? You ask?

WELL Conferencing and Community Building

Its Social Engineering to "balance" your individual rights against the demands of the collective.
