In the face of indictments, why am I talking about the collapsing economies?

Somewhere just beneath the surface of the daily synthetic news that's the story ready to burst into our reality. "The world monetary-financial system is now sliding over the edge, into a general economic collapse of nearly everything, almost everywhere." Lyndon LaRouche Jr. The economy has been collapsing since the dotcom bubble ruptured in the late 90's, but has been covered up largely by clever financing schemes and heavy borrowing. At a critical point which has already been reached according to some, this cycle of borrow and spend has to break down.

Sherman Skolnick, the first to report on the Bush administration indictments months ago, claims Bush may be on the verge of a psychiatric breakdown. Sherman Skolnick and Tom Flocco have led the "news" of indictments since they first broke the story a few weeks ago. Anyone who understands anything at all about propaganda and psychological operations knows how crucial this kind of support is. Sometimes it is stimulated more or less naturally as may well be the case here, but if it doesn't just happen, it must be created or staged so that it looks natural. There are many factions trying to manipulate things in their favor, but at the end of the day, they all work toward the same objective. Total and absolute global domination. There are those who will benefit from a collapsed global economy. They all agree that it is in fact collapsing.

Following is an example of how something may be staged:

On October 14th, I received an email from Barbara Boxer "Political Action Committee For A Change" urging support for a campaign for a "success strategy" in Iraq. 93,000 signatures had been received and 100,000 were needed.

On Wednesday, Dr. Rice will be coming to Capitol Hill to testify about Iraq before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Through the delivery of our petition and questioning by Senators, this is our opportunity to demand the answers about Iraq that the American people deserve.

It's time for a credible plan and timetable to bring American troops home. It's time for details about how Iraqi troops will take our place. And it's time to honor our soldiers the right way -- by giving them the equipment they need while they are deployed, and the health care they deserve when they come home.

That's the message we're sending to Condoleezza Rice and the Bush Administration. And that's the message I hope you'll help me deliver next week. But you've only got a few days left to act.

Tell Dr. Rice and the Bush Administration that we can't just "stay the course" -- invite everyone you know to sign our Iraq petition now!

On October 19th congress presented those demands to Condoleezza Rice. If that whole episode looked like a charade, well, maybe it was. Now a week later we have Patrick Fitzgerald ready to role some heads in DC.

What this means is that Bush wants to declare victory and get out of Iraq. His time is running out, and he needs to salvage whats left of his Presidency. Now armed with public support for a "success strategy" in Iraq, some human sacrifice will be made, and a new Iraq Strategy will soon be announced.

But, no matter what the pretense may be, everything is reactionary and crisis management. The underlying issue driving everything these days is the collapsing economy:

Peak Oil leaders are actively exploring ways to speed up the process leading to a "Die Off" of at least 85% of Earth's population. It's True Believers are busy spreading the propaganda sincerely believing that an energy crisis is eminent. They know that crashing the US economy would precipitate an irreversible and unstoppable chain of events which have the capacity to induce the die off and save their beloved Mother Earth. So, the peak oilers long for an early crash of the system.

Patrick Fitzgerald's Grand Jury is set to deliver indictments perhaps by the end of this week. It is generally recognized that the indictment of anyone close to the President could bring down the Bush administration. There is a growing sense that indictment or no, the Bush administration has to come to an immediate and premature end by impeachment or other radical means if necessary. Add to that the fact that the entire Black population is enraged by the total lack of early assistance from the federal agencies they depended so heavily upon following hurricane Katrina. We have already seen examples of racial unrest a few days ago in Toledo as the Millions More March in Washington DC got under way.

September 24 / 25, 2005: "There is no reason that we cannot begin to examine the processes of secession in the United States. On October 10, 2005, Counterpunch News Service publish the story about the Vermont Independence Convention. An Impossible Dream or a Vision of the Future? "James Howard Kunstler, author of The Long Emergency: Surviving the Converging Catastrophes of the Twenty-first Century , will be the keynote speaker at The Vermont Convention on Independence to be held in the House Chamber of the State House in Montpelier on Friday" October 28, 2005.

All constitutional argument as to what may or may not happen is invalid in the existing state of affairs. It is widely agreed that we have a crook in the Whitehouse. With the presidents war on terrorism, crime, drugs, et cetera, he is the effective head of all organized crime conducted under those banners.

LaRouche's Triple Curve Economic Collapse Function has been in evidence since at least 1999. The global economic collapse is accelerating exponentially. Everything that has happened since that time, must be understood as a phenomenon of the collapse. The frequency and intensity of events will continue to track the exponential rate of collapse. In short, the economy is not going to collapse, it IS collapsing and has been doing so since the dotcom market bubble burst.

Up until that time, the major events were the first WTC bombing, the Ruby Ridge incident, the Waco Massacre, the Oklahoma City bombing and the war on Kosovo. These were all bad enough, but since the market began crashing we have witnessed the failed 2000 election, September 11, 2001, the war in Iraq, and the full disclosure of Homeland Security and FEMA's true agenda in the wake of Katrina to secure the power and extend the control of the federal government.

This has all been obscured by the apparent absence of inflation where the only thing that's growing is the national budget, federal deficits and a crushing imbalance of trade. As production was drastically curtailed, with a corresponding lose of the tax base, new debt became the bottomless pork barrel from which to fund everything from toilet paper for the "contracted" mercenaries sent to Iraq, to the rebuilding of the Gulf coast after Katrina.
