After Ross Perot faded into obscurity during his own campaign for the Presidency of the US, the "great sucking sound" coming from south of the border never happened because it was never reported by the mass media. In fact the entire NAFTA theme became a dead issue in the minds of most Americans who saw it only through the eyes of our late night comedians who never miss a que in their role of the modern "Court Jester".
Meanwhile the NAFTA agenda was moving forward under a full head of steam, and continues to do so unimpeded by public discourse or protest. That "ignorance is bliss" has never been more true.
Rumors of economic expansion, growth and productivity increases, are in fact news of our shrinking job market and a workforce which is no longer able to find productive employment. Government welfare programs, defense contracts (most of which are outsourced), unemployment insurance, early retirement, and low prices at Walmart are the principle means of coping with a situation which must ultimately prove to be untenable. Society is being squeezed into an ever tighter mold of dependence, and their reaction fits the illustration of the boiling of a frog. Americans are becoming the "useless eaters", or "steaks on the table" (in a self fulfilling prophetic way) for their owners to dispose of at their pleasure.

But you're so right about this, and I plan to give it some serious time. For me it ties into what you said a while back about shifting the focus from identifying their influence over our lives to identifying why we react to it the way we do. warm hugs, Niki

Hi Niki, Yes, you are correct in making that connection however, first make certain that you answer the right question. Those who scheme against us know quite well just what response they wish to see. If it doesn't happen, they modify the scheme until it achieves the desired result. Whether they have it right now is a matter which might be debated, but the time for debate has run out. They have already missed several target dates, and according to some of their own analysts, we are right now in the center of the window of what may well be the last opportunity. It happens they say, only once every 13,000 or so years, and it coincides with our crossing the galactic plane which is happening right now in "the transition" to use their term. That's why they are so desperately trying to get Agenda 21 implemented under cover so that it can be fully functional by it's target date of 2021. I personally think there is another date which they will have to reckon with between now and 2012.
Generally speaking, society is "going along" according to the scheme because they see that as the only way to "get along" under the terms established by the scheme. Once it is understood that the scheme requires our complicity in order to succeed, the choice becomes clear. That does not mean that it will be easy. It's rather like the Salmon swimming up stream with the odds heavily stacked against him. We have to face those odds and be willing to take the risk. It isn't the sort of thing where we can wait for a popular vote of a majority before we take action. Such a majority is a concern of the collective and those who have succumbed to it's power and influence.
The one who makes it over the last hurdle wins the prized breeding rights which is what survival is really all about.
Of course the argument is predicated on the premise that the scheme is going to ultimately fail due to it's flagrant violation of Divinely instituted universal principles.
