Leonard Peikoff, the author of "OBJECTIVISM: The philosophy of Ayn Rand", identifies seven characteristics which underlie the destruction of the united states of America. It's the same things which defined the character of Nazi Germany. They are:

1. Liberals demanding public control over private property, social security, energy, medicine, etc.
2. Conservatives demanding government control over intellectual and moral life, school prayer, literary censorship, intervention in education, etc.
3. Political parties devoid of principles or direction
4. An educational system that creates students who can't read or write, feel helpless, and must adapt to "society".
5. Student radicals who are, ecology fanatics, nature worshippers who attack the middle class, science, technology, and business.
6. The rise of defiant old-world racial hatreds disguised as "ethnic-identity" movements and "affirmative action."
7. A pervasive atmosphere of decadence, moral bankruptcy, nihilist art, escapist mystic cults, astrology, "alternative medicine", Orientalists, extrasensory perception, etc.
